Job summary

Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Retail Growth & Development (WWRGD), Enterprise Design team seeks a Senior Design Manager to own the end-to-end design function of the PERF program across our grocery store fleet. You will drive design interventions, prioritize work, and deliver scalable solutions for equipment replacements and in-store improvements.

You will partner with Construction, equipment, and procurement teams to ensure design is grounded in customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience translating business and customer needs into design solutions.
• Experience collecting and analyzing large data sets for continuous improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.
• 4+ years of retail or grocery store design experience.
• Ownership of design deliverables from intake through construction handoff.
• Experience building scalable design processes for high-volume programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the End-to-End Design PERF workstream from intake to delivery.
• Establish criteria for design intervention and prioritize across the portfolio.
• Match project needs to internal/external design capacity and identify gaps.
• Lead design work for PERF scope, equipment replacements, and in-store improvements.
• Develop scalable design standards and toolkits for PERF project types.
• Coordinate with Construction, equipment, and procurement partners.
• Collaborate with store leaders and operations to align on scope and design intent.
• Identify process efficiencies and provide regular status updates to leadership.
