Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for the Worldwide Grocery Stores team. You will own large-scale remodels across regions, leading from preconstruction to closeout while operating in live store environments.

You will travel 75-80% and coordinate with Design, Operations, Equipment, Refrigeration, and Facilities to ensure quality, schedule, and cost outcomes in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial analysis for projects and budgets.
• Knowledge of building codes/regulations for the relevant region.
• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Construction Project Management experience.
• 3+ years using construction/project management tools (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• Experience executing major remodels within active grocery/retail store environments, including phased construction.
• Experience in budget development, schedule management, and cost controls.
• Experience with landlord scope of work and commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver enterprise-scale remodels on time and on budget within operating stores.
• Independently manage scope, schedule, and budget for complex programs.
• Apply enterprise standards while adapting to local jurisdictional requirements.
• Coordinate with Design, Operations, Equipment, Refrigeration, and Commissioning.
• Monitor MEP systems and refrigeration infrastructure for quality and efficiency.
• Influence and negotiate with internal partners, GCs, landlords, and authorities.
• Optimize project costs while maintaining brand standards.
• Minimize disruption to active store operations and customers.
