Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Design Project Manager to work with our Data Center team, supporting designs for new and existing construction builds. The role requires an architectural background and experience in Design/Architecture/Civil works.

The position involves assisting the Project Manager in coordinating design and construction, maintaining client services at the highest level, and managing multiple fast-paced projects with a focus on cost control and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in construction project coordination or equivalent.
• Experience and working in project management on large-scale construction programs.
• Experience in Design/Architecture/Civil works.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to be highly effective in a client facing role.
• Team player; ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and reports to the assigned Project Manager(s) or Project Director; interact with Owner/Client, consultants, design professionals and contractors.
• Assist the Project Manager(s) in managing, coordinating and administering the project through all phases of design and construction.
• Ensure client services are delivered at the highest level to meet client needs.
• Prepare documents for programming, design and construction and maintain project information in project management software.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings with the project team as directed by the Project Manager(s).
• Communicate conceptual designs and maintain project documentation before, during, and after construction.
• Maintain Basis of Design, prototype design, and template specifications for architectural elements.
