Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead and develop our data center team of Project Managers and drive delivery of project management services on major programs. This role requires strong leadership, client engagement, and a track record of growing PM capabilities.

The candidate should have 12+ years in construction PM, plus 2+ years leading large multidisciplinary teams in a consulting environment, with excellent communication and business development skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
• Graduate degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering is preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
• 2+ years managing large high performing multi-disciplinary teams in a consulting environment.
• Proven track record of managing successful project management service delivery for clients.
• Exceptional business development ambition and acumen and demonstrated experience in driving business growth.
• Major construction sector experience with high caliber clients in commercial real estate, data center, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, natural resources, etc.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project management team to deliver on all accountabilities and oversee the client relationship.
• Coordinate communications with the client and oversight of project management services.
• Research construction market conditions and analyze official published data.
• Produce thought leadership reports providing insights to the construction market.
• Manage strategic and operational aspects of Project Management Services including resource and financial management.
• Set a clear strategy with the team aligned to the business plan.
• Develop talent and promote a culture of learning, respect and inclusivity.
• Knowledge management and sharing key information across projects; drive process improvement and ISO quality controls.
