Job summary

Compass is seeking an accomplished Senior Design Manager to lead the product design team for our consumer experience across compass.com and our iOS/Android apps. You will bridge vision with delivery, guiding a team of designers through complex initiatives while collaborating with product, engineering, and analytics to drive customer outcomes.

You’ll mentor designers, set roadmaps, and maintain top-tier design craft across web and mobile platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and user

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in product/UX design
• 2–4+ years managing designers
• Experience leading consumer web and mobile design at scale
• Proven ability to interface with Directors, VPs and C-suite
• Strong storytelling and design leadership
• Experience with design systems governance
• Experience with user research partnerships
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in HCI/Design or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead design vision for consumer touchpoints: compass.com and mobile apps
• Drive executive governance and cross-functional alignment
• Ensure rigorous operational delivery across design streams
• Coach and develop a team of product designers
• Uphold high design craft, accessibility, and usability standards
