Compass seeks a Senior Design Manager to lead the product design team for our consumer experience, spanning compass.com and the Compass mobile apps. You will balance world-class craft, user research, and scalable delivery while aligning with engineering and product leaders.

With 8–10+ years in design and 2–4+ years of people leadership, you’ll empower designers, drive cross-functional roadmaps, and advocate a customer-centered design culture at scale.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in product/UX design with leadership experience in high-growth tech.
• Proven success leading design for consumer digital products across web and mobile.
• Strong ability to align stakeholders and mentor designers.

Responsibilities

• Lead consumer experience vision for web and mobile apps across platforms.
• Drive executive governance and align roadmaps with leadership.
• Ensure timely delivery through disciplined resourcing and milestones.
• Coach designers, foster talent, and build a collaborative team culture.
• Partner with Product, Eng., and Analytics to guide data-informed design.
