Compass in Seattle is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead the consumer design team across compass.com and the Compass consumer mobile app. You will bridge vision and delivery, shaping the end-to-end user journey for buyers and sellers.

You will mentor designers, partner with Product, Engineering, and Analytics, and ensure a high bar for usability, accessibility, and brand consistency across web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of total product/UX design experience, with 2–4+ years of people management experience.
• Proven track record leading design for high-traffic, consumer-facing digital products at scale.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and executive stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the consumer design vision for compass.com and the Compass mobile apps (iOS and Android).
• Drive executive governance and align roadmaps with senior leadership.
• Ensure rigorous operational delivery: resourcing, milestones, and timelines.
• Coach and develop a team of product designers across levels.
• Uphold high standards for usability, accessibility, and brand consistency across platforms.
