AVI-SPL, Inc. seeks a Senior Design Engineer within its XTG unit to transform client needs into robust broadcast and AV system designs with detailed documentation and pre-sales support alongside Account Managers.

You will lead design efforts, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with vendors and contractors to align designs with project goals. The role demands advanced knowledge of AV systems, IP networking, and industry standards, plus travel to various sites.

Formación

• Strong business acumen in the broadcast/AV industry and customer expectations.
• Leadership and mentoring of engineers.
• Proactive risk management and problem solving.
• Clear communication with clients, PMs, and field teams.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in designs.
• Willingness to stay current with industry standards and certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Lead pre-sales design efforts and develop comprehensive system documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, architects, and contractors to align designs with constraints.
• Review designs from junior engineers and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Provide design authority and technical input during implementation.
• Travel to job sites domestically and internationally as needed.
• Provide weekly updates to project leadership.
