Job summary

Diversified in the United States is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead ESS project design from concept through construction. You will ensure client requirements are met and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective security solutions across regional projects.

The role requires strong design engineering skills, experience in access control, video surveillance, and integration, plus the ability to travel to active sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering efforts within ESS domains such as access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
• Strong understanding of system integration, project engineering processes, and field-to-office feedback loops.
• Skilled in process improvement methodologies, technical governance, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Contributor for complex engagements and works directly with clients and the Design Engineering team to develop specifications, designs, budgets, timelines and manage expectations.
• Conceptualize system designs and determine system requirements.
• Strong Project Engineering background and the ability to manage various projects in multi-region.
• Develop detailed 30%, 60%, 90%, 100% IFC, and/or Shop Drawings via AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop BOM and support documentation for customer RFPs.
• Perform QC by reviewing drawings and evaluating the need for design changes; make appropriate recommendations.
