Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney division is seeking a Senior Design Engineer in Holt, MI to support ESTO. You will guide airfoil design activities, work with operations and suppliers, and drive producibility improvements while solving complex engineering challenges.

The role emphasizes corrective actions, MRB involvement, and risk-based analysis, with opportunities to grow toward Delegate Approver responsibilities for hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience in engineering design, manufacturing, production support, or technical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute corrective actions, QNs, Class II engineering changes, and producibility improvements.
• Identify waste, perform root-cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, procurement, suppliers, and SMEs on production issues and MRB activities.
• Develop airfoil SME expertise and progress toward Delegate Approver for applicable hardware.
• Prepare and present technical status and recommendations to ESTO and Operations management.
