Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks a Senior Project Engineer for the Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) team in West Palm Beach, FL. You will execute Support to Operations activities for commercial engine products, coordinating with internal operations and external suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 5 years’ experience (or an advanced degree with 3 years). Onsite work, 20% travel, and collaboration across IPTs are essential to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree in a related field with 3 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with aerospace design/manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with program/project management tools (SAP, EVMS, Teamcenter) and ability to prioritize multiple production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the ESTO project team and Part Family IPTs to provide on-time resolution of non-conforming material
• Support the IPTs with planning and managing the budget for all impacted hardware and tasks
• Provide planning, coordination, and tracking of open issues in the supply chain requiring Engineering support
• Coordinate with Engineering disciplines inside and outside ESTO to ensure rapid responses to critical issues
• Track manufacturing issues and nonconformances to develop and execute proactive improvement plans
• Identify and address project problems and recommend resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects
• Prepare and present status and technical content to IPT Lead(s), ESTO Leadership and other Pratt & Whitney leadership
