Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a senior mechanical design engineer to support the ESTO team in Florida. The role focuses on production support, quality notifications, corrective actions, and producibility improvements across both commercial and military products.

You will work with operations, quality, procurement, engineering SMEs, and outsourcing teams to drive root-cause solutions and continuous improvement in the product development cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in mechanical engineering, design, manufacturing or production support.

Responsibilities

• Lead corrective-action activities with Quality Notifications (QNs) and producibility initiatives.
• Develop Class II engineering change packages using Pro-Cert methodology.
• Lead Engineering First Piece Reviews at suppliers and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement product and process improvements.
• Present technical content and program status to CIPTs and ESTO management.
