Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Structures Lead/Manager in Meridian, ID, to drive transportation project delivery within our Innovative Pursuits Team. You will lead the structural discipline, coordinate with other leads, and guide analyses, reports, plans, and drawings to successful delivery.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in transportation structures design, 5+ years leading teams, and 3+ years of DOT DB/PDB experience, plus strong client communication and organizational skills; a PE

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation structures design experience.
• 5+ years leading structural design teams.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB project experience.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• PE license preferred in relevant states.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation projects (freeways, interchanges, highways).
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Be an integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead structural design, analyses, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantities.
• Use standard bridge industry software.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Be able to work on local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients and management.
• Meet project deadlines.
• Grow professionally within project teams.
