Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Structures Lead/Manager in Denver, CO to drive transportation structures design on major projects. You will manage the structural discipline, coordinate with other leads, and deliver design, analyses, and reports while maintaining strong client relationships.

This role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, and meeting tight deadlines. The position requires extensive experience in transportation structures, DOT DB/PDB programs, and a PE license;

Qualifications

• PE license preferred; multiple state licensure encouraged.
• 10+ years in transportation structures design.
• 5+ years leading structural design teams for infrastructure.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation projects (freeways, interstates, highways, shared use facilities).
• Coordinate with other discipline leads and the project management team.
• Lead structural design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Knowledge of standard bridge industry software and practices.
• Effectively lead a team in a collaborative environment and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure timely delivery and meeting project deadlines.
• Grow professionally by contributing to project goals and designs.
