Job summary

Horrocks Engineers in Idaho Falls is seeking a Design-Build Structures Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team to drive the pursuit and delivery of transportation structures projects, coordinating with multiple disciplines and clients to deliver integrated design solutions.

You will lead structural design and analysis, ensure schedule adherence, mentor staff, and build enduring client relationships across the Rocky Mountain Region.

Qualifications

• Hold a PE license (preferred in UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA).
• 10+ years of transportation structures design experience.
• 5+ years leading structural design teams for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Strong team leadership and client relationship skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation on DB/PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead structural design, analyses, reports, plans, specs and quantities.
• Utilize standard bridge industry software and best practices.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
