Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager in Phoenix to lead transportation design teams on DB/PDB pursuits and projects. You will guide roadways from concept through delivery, coordinating with other leaders and clients to ensure timely, value-driven results.

With a PE and 10+ years in transportation design, you will manage complex projects, leverage Microstation/OpenRoads and Civil 3D, and drive collaboration across disciplines and office locations.

Qualifications

• Current PE license, preferred states: UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA
• 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design
• 5+ years of leading roadway design for infrastructure projects
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
• Strong client relations and communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for Transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects
• Coordinate with other discipline leads
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team
• Lead roadway design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks
• Proficient with Microstation OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
• Commitment to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management
• Meet project deadlines
• Grow professionally within a collaborative team
