Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager in Spokane, WA to drive innovative transportation projects in the Mountain West region. You will lead roadway design teams, coordinate with discipline leads, and manage DB/PDB pursuits and delivery for highways and interchanges.

Requires 10+ years in transportation design, 5+ years leading teams, and a PE license; experience with Microstation/OpenRoads and Civil 3D is preferred. Horrocks offers competitive compensation and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation infrastructure design experience.
• 5+ years of leading roadway design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Current PE license (states UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA preferred).
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for Transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead roadway design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantities.
• Knowledge and experience with Microstation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Work effectively as a team leader and maintain positive client relationships.
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management.
• Meet project deadlines.
• Grow personally and professionally within the team.
