Job summary

HNTB is seeking a seasoned Project Controls/Contract Management professional for a Dallas-based leadership role. You will oversee change management, project controls, risk and insurance management on medium to large mega projects. Engage with Project Managers and Design Managers to drive successful project delivery.

The role requires a strong background in contract management, earned value, and budget governance, with excellent collaboration across internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business required.
• 8–10 years of engineering design/project management or project controls with contract management on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Change Management: develop and execute contract change orders, lead negotiations with client.
• Workplan Management: maintain schedule, staffing plan, and budget approvals.
• Project Controls Management: oversee Earned Value, ETC, EAC, and KPI analysis; ensure revenue recognition alignment.
• Risk Management: maintain Project Risk Management Plan and risk register; weekly risk reviews.
• Insurance Management: ensure insurance compliance and proper documentation.
• Contract Management: manage commercial aspects, IOA/ subconsultant contracts, invoicing and progress reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
