Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Transportation Project Manager I to lead multi-disciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, technical requirements, and contractual obligations to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery that satisfies clients.

The role emphasizes leadership of design teams, coordination across disciplines, and mentoring junior engineers while traveling to project offices as needed to oversee execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience, or
• PhD in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Assist in development of project specifications.
• Develop discipline-specific engineering project elements/deliverables such as reports, designs, and plans.
• Aids in coordination and productivity of project team members.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineering staff.
• Work with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform quality control reviews of discipline-specific elements/deliverables.
• Coordinate and plan schedules, hours, and distribution of work within discipline.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
