Job summary

HNTB in Denver, CO is seeking a senior project controls and contract management professional to lead change management, project controls, and risk oversight on large infrastructure megaprojects. You will develop change orders, manage budgets in AX, coordinate with design managers, and ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies while guiding teams toward on-time, on-budget delivery.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Business with 8–10 years of experience on large projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business and 8–10 years of engineering design background with contract management or project management on large project, or
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business and 10 years of project controls background with contract management or project management on large projects
• Ability to manage contract changes, budgets, and project controls on mega projects.

Responsibilities

• Change Management: development of the Change Management Plan and the development, monitoring and execution of all contract change orders; interacts with Project Manager, Design Manager and Discipline Design Managers; leads negotiation and resolution of change orders.
• Workplan Management: ensures project schedule depicts a critical path and is updated; develops staffing plan; ensures budgets are established in AX and approve budget adjustments.
• Project Controls Management: directs project controls group; ensures Earned Value, ETC, EAC; analyzes EVM reports and KPI metrics; provides forecast data to OBM and DB Business.
• Risk Management: develops the Project Risk Management Plan and Risk Register; conducts weekly risk meetings.
• Insurance Management: ensures contract insurance compliance and proper documentation.
• Contract Management: manages all commercial aspects; ensures IOA’s and subcontracts; ensures monthly invoices and payment; ensures progress reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
