Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. in Richardson, TX seeks a Senior Project Manager with strong design-build leadership to deliver complex projects from preconstruction through completion. You will act as the primary client contact, coordinate internal teams and external partners, and drive scope, schedule, and cost controls to meet objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 8-10+ years in design-build, proven leadership, and excellent communication. PE preferred.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of progressive design-build experience managing complex projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Strong knowledge of design-build delivery methods, schedules, budgets, and project controls.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate resources across offices and stakeholders.
• Experience managing architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with project management, scheduling, estimating, and construction management software.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design-build projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout.
• Serve as the primary client contact and foster strong relationships.
• Coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage scope, schedules, budgets, contracts, and execution plans.
• Monitor performance and proactively manage risks, changes, and costs.
• Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication among all parties.
• Review deliverables for quality, compliance, and constructability.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Support preconstruction activities including estimating, scheduling, procurement, and value engineering.
• Ensure successful delivery by meeting contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements while supporting business development.
