Job summary

Halff is seeking a Project Manager in Richardson, TX to lead land development efforts, oversee design, planning, and project delivery on commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years civil engineering experience, a Texas PE, and an ABET degree, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

This role includes client relations, business development, and coordinating with municipalities.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
PE License in Texas.
5–7 years of Land Development experience.
Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Client interaction and development.
Positive, collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, and design team to meet client expectations and project deadlines.
Maintain proactive communication with clients and act as a trusted advisor.
Develop and nurture client relationships across North Texas and beyond.
Identify and pursue new project opportunities through networks and market awareness.
Coordinate with municipalities and authorities for requirements, submittals, and approvals.
Own project technical design as Project Engineer of Record.
Oversee and mentor EITs, Lead Engineers, and staff; support training and development.
Manage projects through concept to construction lifecycle.
Oversee multiple projects at various design/permitting/construction stages.
