Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. in Richardson, TX is seeking an experienced Design-Build Market Leader to grow and lead our Design-Build and Alternative Delivery practice across the country.

This leadership role drives market strategy, pursuit excellence, contractor partnerships, and successful project delivery while expanding the firm’s presence in transportation, water/wastewater, aviation, and infrastructure markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of AEC experience, including significant design-build project experience.
• Prefer PE or DBIA certification.
• Experience with Progressive Design-Build, CM/GC, or other alternative delivery methods.
• Proven success leading and winning major design-build pursuits.
• Strong relationships within the construction and infrastructure industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive business growth.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's Design-Build growth strategy and market expansion efforts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, contractors, and key industry partners.
• Identify, qualify, and lead major design-build pursuits and teaming opportunities.
• Provide executive oversight for significant design-build projects.
• Champion best practices in project delivery, risk management, and collaboration.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing design-build team across multiple offices and practices.
• Represent the firm at industry organizations, conferences, and client events.
