Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Major Crossings Design-Build Principal to lead pursuit, planning, and delivery of high‑profile bridge and transportation projects across the United States. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, foster client relationships, and ensure seamless integration between design and construction while expanding Jacobs' Design-Build presence.

The role requires a PE license, 15+ years in complex infrastructure, and proven Design-Build or alternative delivery leadership on projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and PE licensure.
• 15+ years in complex highway/bridge projects.
• Proven Design-Build or alternative delivery leadership on transportation projects >$500M.
• Experience developing, implementing QA/QC programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design management for large Design-Build projects.
• Develop pursuit strategies and ATC concepts.
• Mentor bridge and highway Design Managers.
• Coordinate multi-office teams across locations.
• Manage project controls, schedules, budgets.
• Ensure contract compliance and profitability.
