Job summary

Horrocks Engineers seeks a Design-Build Drainage Lead/Manager to guide drainage discipline teams on transportation projects across the Rocky Mountain Region. You will lead hydraulic design, analyses, and studies while coordinating with other discipline leads and maintaining strong client relations.

The role requires a PE license and 10+ years in drainage design for infrastructure, with 3+ years in DOT DB or PDB work.

Qualifications

• Current PE license, preferred states UT/NV/AZ/ID/CO/NM/WA.
• 10+ years leading drainage design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation projects and db/pdb pursuits.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project delivery team.
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, and related tasks.
• Knowledge of MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Work as a team leader and maintain client relationships.
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff and management.
• Meet project deadlines consistently.
• Grow professionally within project teams to support client goals.
