Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Drainage Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team in Albuquerque, NM. You will lead drainage design for transportation projects, collaborate with other discipline leads, and help deliver value-added designs that support our clients’ goals.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of drainage design leadership, and 3+ years of DOT DB/PDB experience, with strong client communication and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Current PE license, preferred states: UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.
• 10+ years of leading drainage design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Must be able to work effectively as a team leader and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project delivery team.
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Knowledge and experience with Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive client relationships.
