Job summary

Horrocks in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Design‑Build Drainage Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team. You will lead drainage discipline engineering for transportation projects, coordinate with discipline leads, and contribute to project delivery in the Mountain West region.

This role requires a PE license (preferred in UT/NV/AZ/ID/CO/NM/WA), 10+ years of drainage design leadership, and 3+ years of DOT DB/PDB experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leading drainage design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• PE license preferred in UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project delivery team.
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analyses, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Proficient with Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D; use other applicable software.
• Lead as team leader and maintain positive client relations.
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management.
• Meet project deadlines.
• Grow professionally within project teams to support client goals.
