Job summary

VEIT is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to lead complex demolition projects from preconstruction through completion. You will finalize competitive estimates, win work, and guide multiple projects while coordinating with field ops, clients, and teams.

The role requires 15+ years in estimating/managing large projects, strong communication, and ability to drive profitability through scope management and changes. Base compensation reflects market range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 15+ years of estimating and managing large complex projects.
• Strong communication, oral and written, with all management levels.
• Ability to read complex policies and present information to executives.

Responsibilities

• Finalize client and public entity estimates and proposals.
• Seek out bid opportunities through client relationships and postings.
• Prepare full estimates for large complex projects with plans/specs.
• Provide management direction across multiple projects and teams.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings for awarded projects.
• Obtain permits and licensing as required.
• Track labor and materials; manage project costs.
• Oversee billing and collections with coordinators.
• Ensure compliance with EEO/DBE requirements.
• Manage project changes to protect profitability.
• Coordinate with owner/GC for safe, timely completion.
• Develop relationships with current and future clients.
• Inform Veit's leadership of important matters.
• Supervise Estimator I/II and Project Manager/Estimators
