Job summary

Superior Communications in Irwindale, CA seeks a Senior Demand Planner to generate and manage statistical forecasts by SKU, customer, and DC location using demand history, seasonality, and market trends.

The role collaborates with sales and accounts, leads S&OP processes, and drives KPI targets including forecast accuracy and inventory levels; requires strong Excel and ERP/MRP knowledge. Travel up to 5% may be involved.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree, or 5 years of supply chain experience
• Strong Excel skills (LOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, conditional formatting)
• Understanding of ERP and MRP systems
• Vendor Management Inventory (VMI) experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyze factors impacting demand and build/maintain forecasts
• Lead Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment meetings with key accounts
• Act as S&OP lead for respective accounts
• Achieve KPI targets (forecast accuracy, inventory, service levels)
• Populate and maintain revenue forecast
• Manage customer store inventory using VMI
• Follow ISO/TL9000 requirements
