Job summary

Amazon is seeking an AMZL Sr. Station Leader in Vandalia, OH to own budgetary, people development and operations objectives for a 24/7 delivery station.

You will lead a team of Operations, Area and Shift Managers, coach and mentor staff, and build leadership bench strength to meet performance targets and safeguard safety, quality and customer experience. Qualifications

• 7+ years’ direct management experience across salaried, hourly and agency staff.
• Experience with performance metrics and lean techniques.
• Experience with end-to-end staffing including interviews and performance management.
• Strong analytical capability with data-driven problem solving.
• Excellent communication in local language and English.
• Experience managing third-party resources and contingent workforce.
• Candidates must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, performance, and people development for all delivery station operations.
• Lead station leadership team and develop talent with succession planning and engagement.
• Drive lean initiatives and process improvements to meet/exceed business plans.
• Set expectations for Ops, Area and Shift Managers, measure performance and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with DSPs, Transport, Finance, HR and Engineering to secure resources for initiatives.
• Present operational metrics to senior leadership.
