Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years’ direct management experience in logistics or distribution.
• Track record of delivering performance and financial results.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and lean techniques.
• Experience staffing across a salaried, hourly and agency workforce.
• Strong analytical capability and data-driven problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills in local language and English.
• Experience managing third party resources regionally/nationally.
• Experience managing contingent workforce during peak seasons.
• Flexible to work varying hours including overnights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for station operations.
• Lead vision, implement quality and lean initiatives to meet business plans.
• Identify gaps and solve problems to improve performance.
• Set expectations for Ops, Area and Shift Managers and measure performance.
• Manage 24/7 delivery station operations and DSP relationships.
• Present operational metrics to senior leadership.
• Hire and develop talent, implement a talent plan and succession planning.
• Drive culture, engagement and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Collaborate with Transport, DSP, Finance, IT, HR and Engineering to secure support for projects.
