Job summary

Databricks seeks a Sr. Delivery Solutions Architect to drive post-sale success and accelerate adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You will collaborate with sales, field engineering and customers, leading technical and strategic efforts across multiple use cases.

This hybrid role requires 7+ years delivering data/AI programs, hands-on Python/SQL/Scala, and strong stakeholder management. Travel up to 30% may be required; reports to a DSA Manager in Field Engineering.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering technical data/AI projects.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL or Scala.
• Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
• Understanding of solution architecture related to distributed data systems.
• Ability to attribute business value and ROI to project deliverables.
• Technical program or project management including stakeholder and resource management accountability.
• Experience resolving escalations with senior customer executives.
• Experience conducting discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps and managing delivery of complex programmes.
• Track record of overachievement against quota or objectives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-technical win strategy and execution for key use cases across strategic accounts.
• Be the accountable technical leader for multiple use cases and customers across selling teams.
• Coordinate with Professional Services, Education, Onboarding and Support to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Develop and execute plans to accelerate production adoption and user growth.
• Provide KPI updates and risk assessment to the Technical GM.
