Job summary

Teradyne seeks an Automated Test Applications Engineer (Mil Aero) to design and implement automated test solutions for defense applications in North Reading, MA. You will develop C# software for test equipment, create operator interfaces, and drive hardware/software integration with cross-disciplinary engineers.

You will lead design reviews, document software, and support occasional travel. A strong background in OO programming and Visual Studio is essential for this full-time onsite role with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Applications/Test Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong programming skills with C# or other OO languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy to turn complex customer requirements into automated test solutions, including fixtures and software.
• Present planned strategy in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to guide design efforts.
• Develop software in C# to operate automated test equipment.
• Integrate hardware and software, debug system issues.
• Develop operator interfaces using TestStand or similar environments.
• Provide documentation including manuals and version descriptions.
