Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Deputy General Manager to support NORAD ITW/AA and Space Support Contract II, with leadership across operations, contract performance, and customer relations. You will ensure compliance with DoD and corporate objectives, drive growth, and oversee risk management at sites in Colorado Springs and CMSFS.

Strong communication and leadership are essential. The role requires Top Secret with SCI eligibility, day shift, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of general experience or higher, as required by basic requirements.
• Master’s degree and 12 years of general experience is an alternative.
• Active DoD Top Secret with SCI Eligibility clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and ensure PU meets corporate objectives; drive Sustained Superior Performance and growth opportunities.
• Coordinate contract performance; provide leadership and allocate resources effectively.
• Maintain strong customer relations and interface with senior officials.
• Lead safety culture and HR talent strategies to strengthen staffing and retention.
• Support business development and rebid opportunities with corporate sales teams.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication; be present at primary work locations in Colorado Springs.
