Amentum seeks a Telecommunications Technician to support NORAD ITW/AA and NISSC II at Peterson Space Force Base, CO. The role involves monitoring, installing, and maintaining networks and end-user equipment, with on-site support and 24/7 readiness.

Clearances and certifications are required, with duties spanning diagnostics, upgrades, and staff training. Candidates should have TS/SCI eligibility, 6 months of related telecom experience, and IAT Level II certifications.

Qualifications

• Clearance required: TS/SCI eligibility.
• 6 months of experience with telephone maintenance or similar systems.
• 1 year of work history.
• IAT Level II Certification: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND or SSCP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, install, and maintain networks and end user equipment/peripherals.
• Respond to user requests for assistance.
• Perform on-the-spot diagnostics and implement corrections.
• Provide upgrades, training, and maintain daily logs.
• Provide 24/7 maintenance support and handle inventory.
• Update ticketing system and assist with provisioning hardware.
