Job summary

LeoForce in Seattle, WA seeks an experienced Litigation Associate (5+ years) to support a busy defense practice. This role offers ownership of cases from strategy through resolution and involves drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, plus depositions and hearings as needed.

The position requires strong written advocacy, client communication, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of litigation experience.
Experience in insurance defense or similar litigation practices.
Experience handling depositions, motions, and case management independently.
Strong understanding of procedural rules and litigation workflow.
Ability to manage a billable caseload and meet productivity expectations.
Licensed to practice law and in good standing.

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment through resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other substantive legal documents.
Conduct depositions, prepare witnesses, and participate in hearings as needed.
Oversee and execute discovery strategy, including document review and production.
Collaborate with clients, experts, and internal teams to develop case strategy.
Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical analysis.
Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case progress and strategy.
Ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met across all active matters.
