The role handles general liability and insurance-related matters across multiple industries, with direct client interaction and hands-on case management, on a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

You will draft pleadings, motions, discovery, take depositions, appear in court, and prepare matters for mediation or trial.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation defense experience.
• Experience handling general liability or insurance defense matters.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions and appear in court for hearings and conferences.
• Prepare matters for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Communicate directly with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and the courts.
