BCG Attorney Search is seeking associates and senior associates for their litigation defense practice in Seattle. The ideal candidates will have 1-10 years of experience and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, with skills in legal research, writing, and oral communication.

The role involves handling various liability and insurance challenges, participating in hearings, and providing legal support for litigation. Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in Washington State.
• Civil litigation experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Take depositions, attend hearings, and mediations as required.
• Draft and submit pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis.
• Draft discovery requests and responses.
• Review and analyze documents and materials for production.
• Investigate claims and prepare case handling strategies.
• Report to insurance carrier clients and insureds.
• Prepare cases for trial/mediation and participate in trial/mediation.
