Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineering Lead to join our Strategic Communications and Precision Navigation team in Marlborough, MA. The role leads hardware design for protected communication and precision navigation systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

You will collaborate with program management, finance, chief engineering, software, systems, and test engineering to deliver integrated solutions from concept through production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hardware engineering with leadership roles.
• Experience leading hardware development from concept to production.
• Strong RF/microwave, radar, and electronics packaging knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; EVMS experience.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design and development for protected communication and navigation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Oversee hardware development lifecycle from concept to deployment within budgets and timelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Oversee testing and validation to ensure standards and customer specs are met.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to drive secure hardware improvements.
• Interface with customers to gather requirements and report progress.
