Job summary

IPS Custom Automation, a leader in defense manufacturing solutions, seeks a Contracts Manager to manage the full contract lifecycle for prime and sub-to-prime agreements. You will negotiate terms with government contracting officers and defense primes, shape contracting strategy, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and export controls.

The role requires expert knowledge of contract types, risk assessment, and leadership in cross-functional teams, with potential for security clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with extensive DoD contracts experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and contract types including FFP/CPFF/ID1Q.
• Experience with ITAR/EAR export controls and DFARS cybersecurity clauses.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-award, award, administration, and closeout of prime contracts and subcontracts for defense programs.
• Negotiate terms with government COs and defense primes, including pricing and modifications.
• Develop contracting strategy for new pursuits and various contract vehicles.
• Draft and negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, MOUs, and contract modifications.
• Act as primary contact for contractual matters with customers and government agencies.
• Support compliance with TINA, CAS, export controls, and audit readiness.
