Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Manager to lead the preparation, negotiation, and management of defense contracts and subcontracts. The role requires strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS/ITAR and the ability to coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Program Management.

You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for contractual matters, ensure compliance, and monitor performance on large government programs while collaborating with internal teams to support Shield AI’s strategic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is required.
• 8+ years of contract management experience in defense contracting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS/ITAR and government procurement processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, negotiate, and manage government contracts and subcontracts.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Program Management to align transactions with strategic goals.
• Administer large, complex contracts including modifications and performance monitoring.
