Job summary

Thales Defense & Security, Inc. in Aurora, IL seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to manage DoD and international contracting, FAR/DFAR compliance, and complex negotiations. You will draft agreements, review solicitations, and guide teams on contractual risks while coordinating with program managers to meet CDRLs and SOW requirements.

The role requires 8+ years of contract administration, U.S. citizenship, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
8+ years of contract administration experience.
CCCM or CFCM certification desirable.
Independent judgment and analysis applied to contract issues.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Draft and negotiate Teaming Agreements, NDAs, Consultant/Agent Agreements and other contracts.
Review solicitations and prepare proposals including pricing strategy and IP assertions.
Analyze and negotiate terms to align with regulations and company objectives.
Administer both advanced and GSA contracts and related purchase orders.
Advise senior management on contractual rights and commitments.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements within the team and provide guidance on issues.
Coordinate with Program Managers to fulfill contract requirements (CDRLs, SOW).
Knowledge of ITAR, export controls, TAA and international contracting.
