Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead technical engagements for U.S. DoD customers, defining architectures and delivering successful cloud solutions using AWS services and GenAI capabilities.

You will work with customers, ecosystem partners, and internal teams to design secure, scalable applications, own implementation projects, and share best practices across the AWS SA community.

U.S. Citizenship and Top Secret clearance required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Defining implementation architectures and developing expertise in AWS technologies.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on security and other technologies as it relates to customer applications and services.
• Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community.
