Job summary

Blue Yonder Defense Solutions, LLC. seeks a Major Account Executive to translate COTS technology into Defense outcomes, focusing on DoD opportunities and driving bookings. Located near Washington, DC preferred with travel up to 30%; other geographies possible based on experience.

The role requires 7–10 years of federal BD, DoD procurement knowledge, and strong stakeholder management. A master’s degree is a plus, and an active DoD clearance is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of federal business development experience.
• Knowledge of DoD procurement cycles and contract vehicles.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance (active preferred).

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and expand footprint within assigned DoD organizations.
• Identify, qualify, and capture opportunities aligned with company capabilities.
• Lead capture strategies with win themes and pricing approaches.
• Maintain CRM and report progress to leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align proposals and teaming.
• Participate in industry associations to expand the Defense network.
