Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. seeks an experienced Superintendent to directly manage field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence on deep foundation projects across North America.

The role requires a strong technical background in specialty foundations and excellent communication for working with field engineers, craft workers, and leadership. Live anywhere near project sites with travel as needed, with competitive compensation and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of planning, scheduling, and management of deep foundation operations.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience as a superintendent.
• Experience with and broad knowledge of foundation/ground improvement equipment (drills, concrete pumps, batch plants).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers for Deep Foundation projects.
• Liaison between field engineering and craft for drawings compliance.
• Coordinate with other superintendents, subcontractors, and staff for workflow and schedule.
• Resolve conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties.
• Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure safety, attendance, and workplace behavior policies are followed.
