Life360 is seeking a Senior Decision Scientist to partner with product and engineering, shaping what gets built and how we grow. You’ll own the analytical narrative, deliver insights that influence roadmaps, and work with data engineers, scientists, and ML engineers to drive decisions beyond dashboards.

The role reports to Data & Analytics leadership and offers a remote-first, US-wide scope with a strong emphasis on causal inference and AI-native analytics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics, data science, or decision science at a consumer tech company.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience with causal inference methods in applied settings.
• Track record influencing product or business strategy through data.
• Experience with experimentation platforms (Statsig, Optimizely, or similar).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Be the strategic thought partner for cross-functional teams and guide roadmaps.
• Tell stories that move teams to act with clear narratives.
• Establish causality using A/B testing, analytics, and causal inference.
• Develop metrics strategies to measure user and business impact.
• Build explanations tying user actions to motivations.
• Leverage AI to multiply impact and shape AI-native analytics stack.
