Job summary

Life360 is seeking a Staff Decision Scientist to lead Advanced Analytics, shaping MAU forecasts and experimentation standards across the Data & Analytics org. You will work across operating groups and use AI to scale causal analyses.

You will partner with Decision Scientists, Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, and Data Engineers to turn advanced methods into durable data models and tooling, enabling leadership to plan effectively.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics or decision science at a consumer tech company.
• Advanced degree in economics, statistics, or related field.
• Deep experience with causal inference methods and forecasting.
• Proven ability to own a forecast or growth model for a core metric.
• Strong SQL and Python/R skills; familiarity with analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the MAU forecast and growth model for planning and target-setting.
• Raise the bar on experiment design, power analysis, and metrics.
• Advance causal inference methods and reusable analytic approaches.
• Define and document data-science standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to operationalize methods.
• Scale analytics with AI tools and build reusable templates.
