Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Staff Decision Scientist to partner with product, engineering, marketing and finance teams. You will own the analytical narrative and deliver insights that influence roadmaps and resource allocation.

You'll help shape the AI-native analytics stack and mentor senior ICs, collaborating with data engineers, data scientists and ML engineers to move from reactive to proactive analysis.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics, data science, or decision science at a consumer tech company
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Demonstrated experience with causal inference methods in applied settings (DiD, IV, RDD, synthetic controls, PSM)
• Track record of influencing product or business strategy through data
• Experience with experimentation platforms (Statsig, Optimizely, or similar)
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for statistical analysis

Responsibilities

• Own the analytical narrative for your Operating Group and partner across PMs, engineers, marketing, and finance
• Tell stories that drive action with clear narratives and viewpoints
• Establish causality with appropriate tools and work with engineering and Product to implement instrumentation
• Define metrics strategies and measurement frameworks across a complex ecosystem
• Build explanations on measurement grounded in user motivation and context
• Shape the AI-native analytics stack and evaluate new tools and workflows for self-serve across the OG
• Mentor senior ICs on causal thinking, experimental rigor, and AI-leveraged workflows
