Life360 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer II, AI Native to help build and maintain the data infrastructure behind its next-generation data platform. The role focuses on scalable data pipelines, secure data storage, and processing systems that support real-time analytics, machine learning, and experimentation.

You will work with high-volume datasets and take ownership of data engineering projects from design through implementation and maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with high-volume data infrastructure.
• Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (Databricks preferred).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with strong query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and Spark/Presto/Trino.
• Experience using LLMs for code generation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and storage.
• Support streaming and batch processing for real-time analytics and ML.
• Automate, test, and strengthen data workflows for reliability.
• Design data models supporting changing business requirements.
• Build features used by machine learning models.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and data science teams to derive business value.
• Use LLMs for code generation and review outputs for quality.
