Job summary

Mangrove Systems is hiring an Implementation Engineer to bring new customers online across voluntary markets and compliance regimes. You will embed with customers, map project data and accounting needs, configure Mangrove’s platform, and ensure rapid, successful deployment across diverse pathways.

The role blends decarbonization, data engineering, and product collaboration, acting as a trusted adviser to customers and the field teams. Remote work within North America is supported.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a forward‑deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or technical implementation role in enterprise software, energy, or data‑heavy industries.
• Proven success leading complex, multi‑stakeholder technical implementations from discovery to launch.
• Strong familiarity with data systems (cloud platforms, APIs, databases, data pipelines) and scripting in SQL or Python.
• Experience translating customer needs into clear technical requirements with engineering teams.
• Domain familiarity with carbon markets, MRV systems, or project development strongly preferred.
• Exceptional customer engagement and communication skills with technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and deployment: manage end‑to‑end discovery, data integration, configuration, and go‑live.
• Adapt implementation frameworks across markets and diverse project types (fuels, CDR, etc.).
• Design and execute integrations connecting customer systems, sensors, and data pipelines using APIs and databases.
• Develop understanding of decarbonization pathways to tailor onboarding data and reporting requirements.
• Educate customers on MRV, data management, and market reporting while aligning with product and engineering.
• Prototype and troubleshoot platform configurations in live environments as a field extension of product teams.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to influence roadmaps from deployments.
• Develop project plans and manage dependencies, risks, and timelines with precision.
• Gather feedback post‑implementation to refine onboarding playbooks and product features.
